What is OCR technology?
A technology known as Optional Character Reader looks for characters and words in pictures and converts them into text. This feature is very useful and is also available by default on iPhones, and you can convert photos to text on the iPhone in less than a few seconds.
By clicking on the square icon on the right side of the desired image in the gallery, the image will transform into text, and by copying it and pasting it into the desired location, the photo will become text.
Steps Convert Picture to Text in iOS 16
- Open the photo that you want to convert to Text in your gallery.

Convert photos to text on iPhone, for other languages
1. Use Google Lens
Google lens is an effective product of Google, the exact information is that you can download this software from the App Store on your iPhone. Since Google is very installed with different languages, you can convert any picture to text. Apparently many Android gadgets do now not have the elements to convert pix to textual content without delay inside their gallery, instead, they can use the Google lens. The sole aspect that Google lens is now not going to work is in the offline mode, you have to be linked to a network.
Note: The methods that I am performing can work in any language that you want.
These were the steps you can use to convert any image to text on your iPhone. The good news is that you can use Google Lens to convert any image into any language you use. I admit that in this section iOS is limited to selected languages only.
